I don't know if (Jens) is worth 900 kronor...oh wait, I do, and he is
I asked Jens Lekman tonight why he hasn't been to Toronto in a very long time. My friends are dying to see him. He told me that he could only play in churches and that he needed a work permit or something, to be there...I don't know. He said it was ridiculously expensive or something, but he is playing in the USA soon. He was such a sweet heart.

I AM SO FLIPPING HAPPY.

He tells stories in between songs which is the best because of his awkward sense of humour and his killer Swedish accent. In Istanbul yesterday, this guy was sad because he didn't play the song that goes "Do do...". Jens told us he had no idea what song it was, but finally he realized it was "Black Cab". So he played Black Cab. His encore: Julie and Pocketful of Money (MY FAVOURITE!!!). He had a full band behind him, everyone was wearing shades of grey and keys around their necks (AKA: the key to my heart).

He's so gorgeous and lyrically amazing. WooJin and I were "fighting" the whole night about who gets Jens Lekman as their Swedish lover. So much fun.
